Safety instructionsBefore using your YB Double Dust collector hood, please read all safety instructions. They are for your protection and should always be followed to reduce the risks of personal injury or damage to the tool.
Always wear proper eye and face protection. Safety glasses or face shields should be worn whenever you operate a YB any power tool to prevent serious eye or face injuries. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery and be sure to the back long hair.
Never operate any accessory at speeds above its maximum speed rating. When properly used, all of YB 's
accessories can be operated at the speeds listed in TM accessory catalogs or on the packaging. Always determine the manufacturer's speed rating before using accessories other than YB's. (Safety requirements for the use, care, and protection of abrasive wheels are contained in ANSI Standards B7.1-1978) .
Never use or continue to use any accessory which appears to be damaged, loose, vibrating, or out of balance. Inspect each accessory for cracks or flaws before using it.
Always disconnect the power cord before servicing the unit.
Never operate your unit during a perceptible power decrease. Be aware to turn the machine off and do not use it until power is fully restored.
Use proper grounding procedures. This tool should be grounded while intend to protect the operator from electric shock. The tool is equipped with an approved 3-conductor cord and a 3-prong grounding type plug to fit the proper grounding receptacle. The green and yellow cord is the grounding wire, please be aware never connect them to a live terminal! Use only 3-wire extension cords that have 3-prong
grounding type plugs and 3-pole type plugs and 3-pole receptacles that accept the tool's plug. Always disconnect the power cord before servicing the tool. Never use in an area where flammable vapors are present. Attachments List Assembly and Operation 1. Gently remove the double dust collector hood and cord set from the packaging
box .
2. Connect the black cords behind the machine to the cord set which has been
shown on the attachment list graph 8.
3. Plug the plug end of cord set into the dust collector hood, the first receptacle
below the power switch
4. Plug the plug shown on the graph below into the machine's last receptacle. It is the main power receptacle, here is reminder, after you finish this step you can both turn on the machine and also turn on the dust collector hood!
5. After finishing all the steps above, you can turn on the power switch on the
graph below and turn on the dust collector hood to run the machine.
To install the machine please follow the steps below:The first step
Put the tapered spiral spindle on the shaft shown on the graph, you can see on the shaft there is special groove on it, when you push the spindle on just remember to leave the black crew above the groove.
Second step
Use the spanner in the attachment bag to tight the screws on the spindle.
The third step
Put the polishing wheels on both sides' spindles
Maintenance
1. Periodically check the dust collector's condition. If it becomes clogged with debris, you can use cleaning cloth to clean the dust. Make sure that when you are cleaning the machine, the machine is turned off without any electricity!
2. Wipe and clean the polycarbonate shield with the soft cloth or paper towel. The soap and water these kinds of non-ammoniated cleaner will remove those greasy polishing compound dust. The spare polycarbonate shield is in the attachment bag.
Repair service
Factory repairs are done promptly and at reasonable cost. If you wish, you can send your equipment directly to the factory .
LIMITED WARRANTY
The YB dust collector hood warrants that the machine is to be free of defects in material or workmanship for a period of 1 year after purchasing. During the warranty period, the defective product will be repaired or replaced without charge or at our option, the purchase price will be refund. This warranty does not cover damage caused by transition or accident, misuse, or ordinary wear.
